| توضیحات روی اسکناس | The obverse is engraved in the intaglio style typical of American Bank Note Company productions of the mid-19th century. At left, a portrait vignette of Queen Victoria in crown and robes occupies an oval frame, while the central vignette shows a seated allegorical figure of Britannia with a lion and shield, set against a lightly ruled guilloche underprint. The denomination numeral '2' appears in large ornate counters at each corner, with the bank title 'BANK OF WESTERN CANADA' and 'TWO DOLLARS' inscribed across the lower central field, and the date 1859 with the place of issue Clifton noted beneath the manuscript signatures. |
