| 表面の説明 | Central field occupied by a rectangular cartouche containing multi-line Arabic legend in angular Kufic-influenced script, reading the name and titles of the Ilkhan Abu Sa'id. A smaller decorative panel or inscription appears above the main cartouche. The coin is pierced near the upper edge, indicating post-mint use as a pendant or ornament. The flan is irregularly shaped with a slightly ragged rim characteristic of hammered Ilkhanid silver coinage. |

Abu Sa'id Bahadur Khan inherited the Ilkhanate in 1316 at around twelve years old, with real power initially held by the amir Choban. His reign saw the last coherent Ilkhanid monetary administration before the dynasty's collapse — after his death in 1335 without an heir, the realm fractured into competing successor states within a decade, and centralized coin production effectively ceased. The three-annulet privy mark distinguishes specific mint or administrative batches; attributing these confidently to a single mint remains contested among specialists.
