| Obverse description | Central field occupied by a rectangular cartouche containing multi-line Arabic legend in angular Kufic-influenced script, reading the name and titles of the Ilkhan Abu Sa'id. A smaller decorative panel or inscription appears above the main cartouche. The coin is pierced near the upper edge, indicating post-mint use as a pendant or ornament. The flan is irregularly shaped with a slightly ragged rim characteristic of hammered Ilkhanid silver coinage. |
