Reverse description Central field bearing a multi-line Arabic religious inscription arranged within a rectangular cartouche, containing the Shahada (Islamic declaration of faith) and Quranic formulae in Kufic-Naskhi script. A mint or regnal inscription appears in the lower margin below the central border. The fields surrounding the cartouche show additional marginal legends partially visible on the irregular flan. The die workmanship is consistent with late Ghurid hammered silver production at Ghazna.
