| Obverse description | Central field occupied by a multi-line Arabic inscription contained within a rectangular border, reading the name and titles of the ruler Muhammad ibn Sam with the laqab Taj al-Din Yildiz. Above the central cartouche, a secondary line of Arabic text is visible in the upper margin. The coin is struck on an irregular flan with a scalloped edge characteristic of hammered Ghurid silver issues. The script is executed in bold Kufic-Naskhi style typical of late Ghurid coinage from the Ghazna mint. |

| Reverse description | Central field bearing a multi-line Arabic religious inscription arranged within a rectangular cartouche, containing the Shahada (Islamic declaration of faith) and Quranic formulae in Kufic-Naskhi script. A mint or regnal inscription appears in the lower margin below the central border. The fields surrounding the cartouche show additional marginal legends partially visible on the irregular flan. The die workmanship is consistent with late Ghurid hammered silver production at Ghazna. |
