正面描述 Central field features a raised circular cartouche enclosing an Arabic legend in thuluth script. Surrounding the cartouche, four quadrants of the field are filled with multiple lines of Arabic inscription in angular Kufic-influenced script, with decorative geometric motifs occupying the interstices between the text panels. The overall layout is characteristic of Ilkhanid-influenced coinage of the period, with dense epigraphic ornamentation filling the flan to its irregular edges.

附加信息

The Sutayids were a minor Turkmen dynasty controlling Irbil (modern Erbil in Iraqi Kurdistan) as vassals under the Ilkhanate — and then, as Ilkhanid power collapsed through the 1330s and 1340s, increasingly on their own terms. Ibrahimshah's reign falls precisely in that interregnum, when the fragmentation of Mongol authority in the region forced local dynasties to assert independent mint rights simply to maintain administrative function.

Album 2319.2 distinguishes this type from related Sutayid issues by die specifics. The dynasty itself ended shortly after this coin's production window closed.
