| Obverse description | The obverse features the quartered coat of arms of Andorra at center, rendered in fine relief, displaying the traditional four heraldic quarters comprising the mitre and crozier of the Bishop of Urgell, the vertical stripes of the Count of Foix, the cows of the County of Béarn, and the vertical stripes of the Viscounty of Castellbò. A decorative cartouche surrounds the shield, with the motto VIRTVS VNITA FORTIOR inscribed on a ribbon at its base. The denomination 2 D. appears below the shield, with the date 2012 beneath it.
