Reverse description The bronze centre portrays a dynamic relief of an alpine skier in a racing tuck position, poles extended, conveying speed and athleticism. The initials M.S. appear to the left of the skier in the field, along with the Rome Mint mark R at the base of the centre disc. The surrounding copper-nickel ring carries the full circular legend naming the event, host city, country, and the date in Roman numerals, with the denomination 2 DINERS inscribed prominently at the base of the ring.
