附加信息

Shah Shuja ruled Shiraz and much of Fars province as the dominant Muzaffarid sultan through the 1370s, but his reign was defined less by stability than by relentless conflict with his own brothers and nephews — the dynasty consumed itself in civil war almost continuously. This particular type corresponds to a window when Shuja had consolidated enough control to issue coinage in his own name across multiple mints, though attribution of individual specimens to specific striking locations remains difficult without clear mint names on the flan.

The Muzaffarids would be exterminated entirely by Timur in 1393, barely two decades after this type was struck.
