Description de l’avers	Bare-headed effigy of King Hussein II in right-facing profile, rendered in high relief against a polished field. An Arabic legend curves along the left periphery identifying the king, while a complementary Arabic inscription arcs along the right periphery naming the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The denomination in Arabic (دينارات) and the Hijri date ١٣٨٩ appear in the lower field beneath the portrait. The design is framed by an inner beaded border and an outer reeded rim.

Description du revers	Central circular reserve depicting a detailed view of the oval Forum colonnade of ancient Jerash (Gerasa), with a row of standing Corinthian columns and the colonnaded street visible in the background, rendered in fine engraving. Flanking the central medallion on either side is a decorative diamond-pattern field. The legend FORUM - JERASH curves beneath the central scene, with TWO to the lower left and 1969 to the lower right flanking a large numeral 2. The denomination TWO DINARS appears in bold lettering across the lower margin. The legend THE HASHEMITE KINGDOM OF JORDAN arcs around the upper periphery in Latin script, with the fineness mark 900 visible at the left inner border.
