Obverse description Central field features a raised facsimile reproduction of a gold dinar of the Rustamid Dynasty (762 A.D.), depicted as a slightly irregular coin form with multi-line Arabic Kufic inscriptions filling the inner field. The surrounding border legend is rendered in Arabic script and references the Rustamid state, flanked on the left by the dual dates 762 A.D. / 1991 and on the right by 144 / 1411 (AH), all within a raised rim.
