正面铭文 СР ЈУГОСЛАВИЈА · SR JUGOSLAVIJA ·
(Translation: Federal Republic of Yugoslavia)
背面描述 A detailed frontal view of the Gračanica Monastery, the celebrated 14th-century Serbian Orthodox church in Kosovo, rendered in finely engraved relief and occupying the right portion of the field. The monastery's characteristic multiple domes surmounted by crosses and its distinctive Romanesque-Byzantine arched facade are faithfully depicted. The large denomination numeral '2' appears prominently to the left of the architectural motif. The bilingual legend 'ДИНАРА · DINARA' arcs across the upper field in Cyrillic and Latin scripts, while the date appears at lower left beneath the value numeral.

附加信息

Yugoslavia's final coinage series, issued as the Federal Republic under Milošević, was struck while the country was under sweeping international sanctions and had already lost Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia, and Macedonia. The 2000 date places these coins in the same year the dinar collapsed for the third time in a decade and Milošević was ousted following mass protests.

Production continued into 2002 under the reconstituted state, making this one of the last issues to carry the Yugoslavia name before the federation dissolved entirely and Serbia and Montenegro briefly went their own way in 2003.
