Obverse description The obverse features the German Federal Eagle (Bundesadler) displayed centrally in the field, rendered with spread wings, a crosshatched breast, and downward-facing talons in a bold, stylised design. The eagle faces to the right and is depicted in high relief against a smooth field. The circular legend BUNDESREPUBLIK DEUTSCHLAND runs along the upper and lateral periphery, and the mint mark D appears at the base, flanked by two dots. The design is framed by a continuous inner beaded border.
