| 背面描述 | Central field features a large cross pattée with slightly splayed arms, surrounded by a beaded inner circle, typical of the denier parisis type derived from Capetian royal coinage. Four fleurs-de-lis or foliate ornaments appear in the angles of the cross. A marginal legend in Gothic uncial script reads mONETA DVPLEX, designating the denomination as a double denier. The coin exhibits characteristic surface porosity and uneven strike pressure consistent with hammered silver coinage of the mid-14th century. |

Yolande of Flanders ruled Bar as regent following the death of her husband Henri IV in 1344, one of the few women to exercise direct coinage authority in medieval France. Her regency coincided almost exactly with the Black Death's first sweep through northeastern France, and the disruption to trade and population that followed makes surviving issues from this brief window genuinely scarce. The Flon#10 attribution places this among a tightly documented sequence of Bar deniers, but Yolande's issues remain underrepresented in major collections relative to her male predecessors.
