Obverse description Central device comprising a quatrefoil ornament formed of four lozenge-shaped spindles arranged in a cross pattern, occupying the centre of the field. The device is flanked on either side by two foliate or wreath-like sprigs. A princely crown surmounts the composition at the top, while an additional decorative element appears at the base.
