Reverse description Central field displays a crowned shield or architectural motif, likely representing the arms or emblem of the Ibiza Council (Universitat d'Eivissa), rendered in a schematic and heavily worn manner consistent with hammered copper coinage of the period. The surrounding circular Latin legend reads ✠ VNIVER : EVISA, an abbreviation for Universitat Evissa, identifying the issuing municipal authority of Ibiza. The flan is irregular and the strike uneven, leaving portions of the legend and device weakly impressed. The reverse surface shows significant patination and corrosion typical of circulated early sixteenth-century Balearic copper.
