Reverse description The reverse of this Swedish copper plate coin presents a broad, unadorned flat copper surface displaying the characteristic rough texture and irregular cold-working marks inherent to the plåtmynt production process at the Kengis mill. The surface exhibits natural oxidation and patination consistent with early eighteenth-century copper alloy, with no applied stamps or legends, as was standard practice for Swedish plate money of this period. Shallow striations and surface fissures resulting from the rolling of the copper billet are clearly visible across the field. The corners of the plate are trimmed at slight angles, producing the characteristic irregular square form of the denomination.
