Issued to mark the 70th anniversary of Elizabeth II's accession, this piece commemorates a tribute paid by Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby at the Platinum Jubilee service in June 2022 — the sermon in which he described Prince Philip as the Queen's "strength and stay," borrowing a phrase from the marriage hymn "O Perfect Love." Elizabeth II died three months later, making this one of the final commemorative issues struck in her name during her lifetime.
