| 备注 |
The Banco Nacional de Nicaragua was a peculiar institution — majority-owned by the Nicaraguan government but incorporated under U.S. law and headquartered in Managua with a New York charter, a structure that reflected the prolonged American financial supervision of Nicaragua that followed the Bryan-Chamorro Treaty era. By 1939 that arrangement was winding down, and full Nicaraguan control of the bank came in 1940, making this series one of the last issued under the hybrid regime.
ABNC printed the bulk of Nicaraguan currency throughout this period, and the 1939 series continued that relationship into its final year.
