| Beschrijving voorzijde | Concentric raised rings frame a central sunken circular depression containing the Chinese character 戶 (Ho), the mintmark of the Treasury Department (Hojo), rendered in relief against a blue-enamelled ground. The broad flat rim and recessed central field give the obverse a distinctly architectural, target-like appearance characteristic of Joseon monetary reform coinage of the early 1880s. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse bears four Chinese characters arranged in two reading directions: the country name 大東 (Daedong, Great Eastern Kingdom) reading vertically from top to bottom, and the denomination 二錢 (2 Chon) reading horizontally from right to left, all disposed within a plain field. The characters are rendered in incuse or low relief consistent with the hand-struck style of Joseon treasury coinage, with no additional decorative elements bordering the legends. |
