Reverse description The reverse bears four Chinese characters arranged in two reading directions: the country name 大東 (Daedong, Great Eastern Kingdom) reading vertically from top to bottom, and the denomination 二錢 (2 Chon) reading horizontally from right to left, all disposed within a plain field. The characters are rendered in incuse or low relief consistent with the hand-struck style of Joseon treasury coinage, with no additional decorative elements bordering the legends.
