| Beschrijving voorzijde | Printed in teal and rose on cream paper, the obverse is dominated by a central dark blue octagonal guilloche medallion bearing the Chinese denomination 贰角 (Two Choh) in bold characters, surrounded by elaborate foliate and dragon-scroll vignettes in the same teal tone. The bank title 交通銀行 (Bank of Communications) is inscribed across the top within a decorative panel, with Chinese text columns flanking the central medallion on left and right setting out the note's legal tender provisions. The four corners carry circular medallion ornaments, and red seal chops appear at centre-left and centre-right, with the branch designation 哈爾濱 (Harbin) prominently placed at the foot. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | Printed in brown and green on cream paper, the reverse carries a bold green guilloche underprint over which the large green denomination text TWO CHOH is overprinted diagonally across the centre field. The bank title BANK OF COMMUNICATIONS is set in bold roman capitals within a solid brown panel at the top, and the branch name HARBIN appears in a cartouche at the foot. A full English text citing National Coinage Law Article 4 and explaining the decimal currency system fills the central area, with two manuscript signatures of bank officials appearing below the text, and corner ornaments bearing the numeral 2 and the legend CHOH repeated at all four angles. |
