| Obverse description | Printed in teal and rose on cream paper, the obverse is dominated by a central dark blue octagonal guilloche medallion bearing the Chinese denomination 贰角 (Two Choh) in bold characters, surrounded by elaborate foliate and dragon-scroll vignettes in the same teal tone. The bank title 交通銀行 (Bank of Communications) is inscribed across the top within a decorative panel, with Chinese text columns flanking the central medallion on left and right setting out the note's legal tender provisions. The four corners carry circular medallion ornaments, and red seal chops appear at centre-left and centre-right, with the branch designation 哈爾濱 (Harbin) prominently placed at the foot. |
