Reverse description The numeral 2 in a large, bold, lined typeface occupies the centre of a beaded inner circle. The legend TWO CENTS appears in the lower arc outside the beaded circle, with the date to the right, and MAURITIUS arcs across the upper portion of the field outside the beaded circle, all within an outer beaded border. Bullet separators flank the legend at left and right. The overall design is austere and utilitarian, emphasising legibility of the denomination.
