Reverse description The denomination is expressed in two lines of bold, serifed capital lettering — TWO above CENTS — centrally positioned within an open field and enclosed by a symmetrical wreath of laurel branches. The wreath is tied at the base with a bow and adorned with berries along its stems, its branches rising to meet at the apex. A fine denticulated border encircles the entire design, consistent with the milled production technique employed for this pattern.
