| Obverse description | A Phrygian liberty cap set atop a radiating sun, all enclosed within a plain inner circle. Flanking the central device on either side are olive or laurel sprigs extending upward toward the rim. The field is bordered by a beaded outer ring, with a cluster of raised dots visible at the base below the inner circle. The overall design reflects the republican iconography common to Mexican revolutionary coinage of the period. |

| Reverse description | The numeral '2' occupying the center of the field, flanked by two crossed sprigs forming a wreath-like arrangement within a plain inner circle. The circular legend FUERZAS CONSTITUCIONALISTAS runs around the periphery in capital Latin lettering, separated by small ornamental dots, and is bounded by an outer beaded border. The design is primitively engraved, consistent with the emergency coinage produced at Hidalgo del Parral during the Mexican Revolution. |
