| Obverse description | Printed in red-brown on white paper, the obverse presents a symmetrical allegorical vignette in which two semi-draped classical figures — a female figure to the left and a male figure to the right — flank a central circular cartouche bearing the municipal coat of arms of Coimbra. The date 1920 appears below the central cartouche, with the denomination numeral 2 at each lower corner and CENTAVOS along the base. The issuer legend CÂMARA MUNICIPAL DE COIMBRA runs in an arc across the upper register within a ruled rectangular border. |
