| Obverse description | Right-facing diademed and draped effigy of Queen Elizabeth II occupying the central field, rendered in high relief with fine detail to the hair and crown. The engraver's initials IRB appear below the truncation. The circular legend reads ELIZABETH II REPUBLIC OF GHANA TWO CEDIS along the upper periphery, while the lower portion of the field bears the denomination 1/2 oz, the year 2021, and the fineness mark Ag 999.
