| Obverse description | Bust of Philip IV of Spain facing right, depicted in armor with a ruffled collar, the effigy rendered in a rough hammered style characteristic of Neapolitan copper coinage of the period. A partial Latin legend appears along the upper periphery of the flan, partially off-flan due to the irregular planchet. The overall style is bold but somewhat crude, typical of low-denomination utility coinage struck for circulation in the Kingdom of Naples. |
