Reverse description A front-facing imperial dragon, rendered in high relief, dominates the field, its scaly body coiling sinuously to encircle a flaming pearl at the centre. The dragon's head is depicted frontally with prominent horns, whiskers, and an open mouth, conforming to the traditional Qing imperial dragon iconography. Flame and cloud motifs fill the surrounding field, while the dragon's claws and tail extend to the periphery of the coin. No peripheral legend or inscription appears on the reverse; the design is entirely pictorial. The overall treatment is characteristic of the machine-struck Qing cash coinage produced at the Tientsin Central Mint in the early twentieth century.
