Beschrijving voorzijde Central square hole (cash hole) surrounded by a plain raised rim on both inner and outer borders. Four Chinese characters in regular script (kaishu) are arranged in the traditional cross reading order: top, bottom, right, left, reading 大中通寶 (Da Zhong Tong Bao). The characters are boldly cast in relief against a flat field, exhibiting the characteristic unadorned style of early Ming transitional coinage. The coin's surface shows the typical patina of a cast bronze piece, with no additional ornamentation in the field.

Beschrijving keerzijde Plain uniface reverse featuring a central square hole flanked by raised inner and outer rims. The field is entirely blank with no legends, symbols, or mint marks, consistent with the standard issue type of Dazhong Tongbao coinage. The surface exhibits a natural green patina typical of cast bronze alloy from this period.
