Obverse description Cast brass cash coin bearing the four-character reign title legend 崇禎通寶 (Chóngzhēn Tōngbǎo) arranged in cruciform reading order: top, bottom, right, left around a central square hole. The characters are rendered in standard script (kaishu) with clearly defined strokes against a flat, unadorned field. Inner and outer rims are raised and well-defined, framing the inscription in typical Ming dynasty cash coin style.
