Obverse description Central device depicting the papal tiara (triregnum) surmounting two crossed keys, the traditional symbol of the Holy See, rendered in relief within a plain field. An ornate scrollwork cartouche or ribbon tie binds the keys at the intersection. The circular legend reads PIVS·SEXTVS·P·M· with the pontifical year numeral (e.g. X for Anno X) positioned in the lower field, flanked by small stars or pellets. The coin's broad milled border frames the entire design. The style is characteristic of late eighteenth-century Roman engraving, with bold, well-defined relief.

Reverse description The denomination inscription DVE / CARLINI / ROMANI is displayed in three lines across the central field, rendered in bold Roman capital letters. The text is fully enclosed within a symmetrical laurel wreath tied at the base with a ribbon, its branches extending around the full circumference of the coin. A small six-pointed star ornament appears beneath the wreath tie in the lower field. The design is clean and uncluttered, with the wreath providing elegant framing consistent with Papal monetary issues of the period. The broad milled edge border is visible at the coin's periphery.
