| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central raised circular boss encloses the Arabic numeral '2' above the denomination legend 'بقشة' (Buqshah) in the field. Surrounding the central boss, the outer annular field is decorated with elegant arabesque foliate scrollwork in low relief. The Arabic legend 'الجمهورية العربية اليمنية' (Yemen Arab Republic) arcs across the upper periphery. The coin is struck with a milled border of fine beading running along the entire rim. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | A naturalistic leafy coffee branch with berries occupies the central field, rendered in fine relief. The branch is enclosed within an ornamental wreath composed of interlaced geometric and floral arabesque chain-work forming an open horseshoe shape. Below the wreath, the dual date is inscribed in Arabic numerals reading '١٩٦٣ - ١٣٨٢' (1963 CE and 1382 AH respectively). A fine beaded milled border encircles the entire reverse. |
