正面描述 The obverse displays the national coat of arms of Bolivia in high relief at the centre of the field, depicting an oval cartouche enclosing a landscape with Potosí mountain, a llama, a breadfruit tree, and a wheat sheaf, surmounted by a condor with outstretched wings. The shield is flanked by crossed Bolivian flags and laurel branches, with a cannon and a fasces at either side. A five-pointed star appears at the bottom centre, and the legend ESTADO PLURINACIONAL DE BOLIVIA curves along the upper periphery in raised Latin lettering, within a beaded border.

附加信息

Cobija was Bolivia's only Pacific port until the War of the Pacific (1879–1884), after which Chile seized the entire Atacama littoral and left Bolivia permanently landlocked. The port's loss remains a live political grievance; Bolivia still maintains a navy, trains it on Lake Titicaca, and has pursued international legal action at the Hague over coastal access rights as recently as 2018.

This coin belongs to a series honoring Bolivia's historical departments and significant sites — a quiet act of institutional memory for a coastline the country has not governed in over a century.
