| Opmerkingen |
Bolivia's 1987 monetary reform replaced the collapsed peso boliviano — which had suffered one of the worst hyperinflationary episodes in recorded history, peaking at over 20,000% annually in 1985 — with the boliviano at a conversion rate of one million to one. This note belongs to the first series issued under that new unit, making it part of an explicitly stabilization-era printing program rather than routine currency production.
Oberthur's Rennes facility printed the series. The P#202 is among the lower denominations and saw genuine street circulation throughout the late 1980s.
