| Obverse description | The Venezuelan national coat of arms occupies the central field, displaying the quartered shield with a horse, wheat sheaf, and crossed weapons, surmounted by a laurel and palm branch wreath with tropical foliage above. A circular legend around the periphery reads 'ESTADOS UNIDOS DE VENEZUELA'. In the lower field, separated by raised dots, the weight, date, and fineness are inscribed: 'GRAM.10', the year of issue, and 'LEI 835'. The design is contained within a beaded border. |
