Obverse description Three overlapping bare-headed busts of Belgian monarchs in left-facing profile, arranged in successive tiers from background to foreground representing Leopold I, Leopold II, and Albert I respectively, engraved in high relief. The legend arcing along the upper periphery reads LEOPOLD I • LEOPOLD II • ALBERT, while the centennial dates 1830 - 1930 are inscribed along the lower field, flanked by two small dots. The engraver's initials A.B. appear discreetly in the lower central field. The coin is framed by a fine toothed border.
