| Reverse description | Crowned quartered shield of arms occupying the central field, bearing the combined heraldic devices of the Imperial Abbeys of Murbach and Lüders, with the denomination numeral (2) appearing above or integrated into the design. The shield is surmounted by a large ornate crown. The surrounding circular Latin legend reads S·LEODEGARI·PATR·MVR·ET·LVDER, invoking Saint Leodegar as patron of Murbach and Lüders. The hammered flan presents an irregular, slightly concave surface consistent with mid-17th-century German ecclesiastical coinage practice. |
