Issued by a regional collectors' club in Baranja — the flat agricultural wedge of Croatia between the Drava and Danube rivers — this note functions as a commemorative scrip rather than any form of legal tender. Such pieces were produced by Croatian numismatic societies primarily for exchange at club meetings and conventions, circulating only within that closed community. The three-designer credit is unusually collaborative for a piece this modest in scope.
