Reverse description Central device depicts the royal cypher of Queen Sri Bajarindra surmounted by a tiered Thai royal crown (chada), flanked on either side by ornamental branches bearing flowers and foliage. The denomination '๒ บาท' (2 Baht) appears in Thai numerals and script to the lower left and lower right of the central device respectively. A Thai script legend at the top reads 'ประเทศไทย' (Thailand), while the lower field carries the commemorative inscription '๑๒ มกราคม ๒๕๓๙ ๑๐๐ ปี การพยาบาลไทย' denoting 12 January 2539 (1996) and the centenary of Thai nursing.
