| 备注 |
Jaora was a small Muslim princely state in the Malwa region of Central India, and its wartime cash coupons occupy an odd corner of Indian notaphily. During the Second World War, the broader rupee coinage shortage across British India prompted several princely states to issue low-denomination paper substitutes for metal coins that had effectively vanished from circulation — hoarded, melted, or diverted to the war effort.
The unlisted status in Pick reflects how poorly documented this series remains. Jaora's coupons rarely surface, and when they do, provenance is almost always unclear.
