| Obverse description | The Ashoka Lion Capital, the national emblem of India, is depicted in high relief at the center of the field, enclosed within a raised circular border. The emblem shows three visible lions atop an abacus featuring the Dharma Chakra (wheel) flanked by a bull and a horse in low relief. The legend GOVERNMENT . OF . INDIA runs along the circumference between the inner circle and the outer rim, with a five-pointed star positioned at each of the four angled corners of the square flan outside the circular border.
