Reverse description A crowned displayed eagle with wings spread occupies the central field, bearing on its breast an oval shield charged with the arms of the House of Savoy. The entire eagle device is enclosed within a beaded inner circle. Below the circle, in the lower margin, the denomination appears as SOL·2·6 flanked by ornamental stops. The encircling Latin legend DUX·SAB·ET·MONTISF·PRINC·PED·&· runs along the outer margin between the inner circle and the milled rim.
