Obverse description Draped bust of Charles Emmanuel III facing left, with the date inscribed in the exergue below the truncation. The effigy displays the king in contemporary court dress, rendered in a baroque portrait style typical of mid-18th-century Savoyard coinage. A circular Latin legend runs along the periphery, interrupted by the bust, identifying the sovereign and his royal titles. The coin is struck within a finely toothed border that frames the entire design.

Reverse description Central shield bearing the quartered arms of Savoy — featuring the distinctive white cross on a field — surmounted by a royal crown and flanked by ornate scrollwork supporters. The motto FERT appears on either side of the shield within the supporters, a traditional Savoyard device. The surrounding Latin legend, divided by the crowned arms, runs along the periphery within a toothed border, citing the ruler's ducal and princely titles.
