| Beschrijving keerzijde | Blue and yellow note centered on a Balinese dancer in traditional costume and headdress, rendered in fine intaglio line work at right, her right hand extended in a classical gesture. A yellow underprint vignette of a decorative floral motif appears at left beside the serial number panel A 0000, with intricate guilloche borders framing the entire composition. The denomination title DUA RIBU LIMA RATUS RUPIAH runs along the upper margin, and a large red overprint SPECIMEN is applied diagonally across the face. |

| Opmerkingen |
The 1960 series from Bank Indonesia was issued during the Guided Democracy period under Sukarno, when the government was running persistent deficits and inflation was already beginning its climb toward the hyperinflationary collapse of the mid-1960s. Notes from this era circulated hard and were not well-preserved — Indonesia's tropical humidity is notoriously destructive to paper currency, and high-denomination examples from this series that survived in decent condition are genuinely uncommon.
The P#88A designation distinguishes this from later signature varieties within the same series.
