| Reverse description | The reverse depicts an architectural rendering of the Philharmonie Luxembourg, the Grande-Duchesse Joséphine-Charlotte Concert Hall located in the Kirchberg district of Luxembourg City. The iconic concert hall is portrayed with its distinctive colonnade of white steel pillars encircling the main building, rendered in fine detail against the plain field of the silver center. The face value 2,50 EURO and the inscription PHILHARMONIE LUXEMBOURG appear in the legend surrounding or adjacent to the central design. |

| Additional information |
Luxembourg's Philharmonie, designed by Christian de Portzamparc and opened in 2005, was the first building by a Pritzker Prize laureate constructed in the Grand Duchy. The coin's bimetallic construction — a .925 silver center seated in a nordic gold ring — is the same format France has used for its €1.50 and €6.00 collector issues, adapted here for a Luxembourg-specific subject under Monnaie de Paris's production mandate for the Grand Duchy.
