| Descrizione del rovescio | A boldly modeled, high-relief effigy of Prof. Dr. Fuat Sezgin (1924–2018), the distinguished Turkish historian of Islamic science, depicted in a facing portrait with naturalistic detail of his facial features and swept-back hair. The portrait dominates the central field, rendered with fine sculptural quality against a smooth recessed ground.
