Part of the Turkish Mint's long-running "Anatolian Archaeological Sites" series, this issue commemorates Akşehir, a district in Konya province best known as the legendary home of Nasreddin Hodja, the 13th-century folk philosopher whose satirical tales remain in active oral circulation across Central Asia and the Balkans.
