Reverse description Multi-line Arabic inscription arranged within a central square or rectangular cartouche, with additional marginal legend encircling the border of the flan. The central field inscription likely references the mint name Yazd and the Hijri date 904, while the surrounding marginal text contains the Shi'a kalima or related devotional formulae. The deeply struck lettering in naskh script shows bold relief characteristic of Aq Qoyunlu hammered silver coinage. The irregular flan edges result in partial truncation of the peripheral legend.
